In Q1 2022, the top five travel and local apps in Bahrain showcased diverse trends in downloads and user engagement. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on Sensor Tower data.

Live Earth Map 3D from Aurentas Kabdrakhimov experienced significant fluctuations in weekly downloads. Starting with 381 downloads in mid-January, it peaked at 3.8K during early February. Following this, the app saw another high point at 3.4K downloads in early March but gradually tapered off to around 715 by the end of the quarter.

Nusuk (Eatmarna Previously), published by the Ministry Of Haj & Umrah, saw a varied trend in downloads. The app started the quarter with 898 downloads and experienced a notable spike to 1.1K in the week of February 21. The downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around 700-900 towards the end of March.

Google Earth by Google LLC maintained a steady download rate throughout Q1 2022. The app consistently achieved around 500 downloads each week, with minor fluctuations, ending the quarter at approximately 397 downloads.

Mastercard Travel Pass from DragonPass Company Limited displayed a relatively stable download trend. Starting at 702 downloads in mid-January, the app saw a slight decline and then a recovery to around 494 in mid-March, before closing the quarter with 364 downloads.

Finally, Booking.com: Hotels & Travel by Booking.com Hotels & Vacation Rentals demonstrated consistent performance in weekly downloads. Beginning with 630 downloads in mid-January, the app peaked at 664 in late February and maintained an average of around 600 downloads until the last week of March, where it dipped to 490.
